Here are some thoughts of mine that I think are worth sharing, even if they may not fit neatly into my publications.

• PCA and Contour Integration - I show how the resolvent formalism approach of obtaining principal component subspace projection operators via contour integration can be obtained intuitively as the limit of a nonlinear scalar transformation of the spectrum of a matrix.
